During a student internship in landscaping and gardening, you would typically assist with various tasks such as planting, weeding, watering, and pruning plants. You may also help with landscape design, installation of hardscape features, and maintenance of outdoor spaces. Additionally, you may have the opportunity to learn about soil preparation, pest control, and proper use of gardening tools and equipment. Overall, the internship provides hands-on experience in all aspects of landscaping and gardening, allowing you to gain valuable skills and knowledge in the field. **

No, gardening does not mainly consist of throwing snails to the neighbor. While snails can be a common pest in gardens, there are many other aspects to gardening such as planting, watering, weeding, and harvesting. There are also various methods for controlling snails in the garden that do not involve throwing them at the neighbor, such as using barriers, traps, or natural predators. **

Yes, predatory snails are known to eat larger snails. They are opportunistic feeders and will consume a variety of prey, including larger snails if given the chance. Predatory snails use their radula, a specialized feeding organ, to rasp and consume the soft tissues of their prey, including larger snails. This behavior helps regulate the population of snails in their environment. **

Naked snails do not typically eat other naked snails. They are herbivorous creatures that primarily feed on plant matter such as leaves, fruits, and vegetables. While they may occasionally come into contact with other snails, their natural diet does not include consuming other snails. However, in certain situations where food is scarce, or if they are kept in crowded or stressful conditions, they may exhibit cannibalistic behavior. **

Yes, fire snails are known to be carnivorous and will eat other snails, including larger ones. They are opportunistic feeders and will consume a variety of prey, including snails, worms, and insects. Fire snails use their radula, a tongue-like organ with tiny teeth, to scrape and consume the soft tissues of their prey. Therefore, larger snails are not safe from being eaten by fire snails. **

Yes, garden snails can smell African giant snails. Snails have a well-developed sense of smell, using their tentacles to detect chemical cues in their environment. When a garden snail encounters the scent of an African giant snail, it can recognize and respond to the presence of the other snail species. This ability to detect and respond to the scent of other snails can be important for finding mates, avoiding predators, and locating food sources. **

Clea Helena snails are known as assassin snails because they primarily feed on other snails. They are particularly effective at controlling populations of pest snails in aquariums. However, they may not eat all types of snails, as their diet tends to focus on smaller snail species. Additionally, they may not be able to consume larger or more defensive snail species. **

No, snails cannot burp. Snails do not have the ability to burp like humans or other animals with a digestive system that produces gas. Instead, snails release excess gas through their skin or by expelling it as bubbles in the water. **
